NORMAN R. "BOB" GRACIE, 67 of Weirton, WV passed away January 8, 2018 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1950 in Steubenville, OH. A son of the late Norman H. and Anjanetta Lyke
Gracie.
Bob was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; past president of Weir High boosters club; former member of Pleasant Valley Country Club; an avid golfer, bowler, fisherman, and a coach to many youth. Bob was a 1968 graduate of Weir High School. He retired as a systems analyst at the general office of Weirton Steel Corp.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Rhonda Elizabeth Fenske Gracie; daughters, Cara Craver (Ben) and their children, Paisley and Hazel of Charlotte, NC, Jill Robinson (Kevin) and their son Fitzgerald of Denver, CO; son, Chad Gracie (Tabitha) and their children Ayden, Owen, and soon to be another grandson of Indianapolis, IN; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Fenske of Weirton, WV; sister, Patty Rhoades (James) of Paris, PA; brothers, Roger J. Gracie (Donna) of Weirton, WV, Richard T. Gracie (Betty) of Charleston, SC, Scott A. Gracie of Thornton, CO; lap companion, Phoebe the cat.
Visitation will be Friday January 12, 2018 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral and committal services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Heckathorn presiding. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Bob's name, to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
