Patricia Eileen Delekta

PATRICIA EILEEN DELEKTA, 86 of Weirton, WV passed away Thursday April 14, 2016 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1930 in Barrow-Inn Furness, England. She was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Anne Cutler Rogan. Patricia was also preceded in death by her husband, John S. Delekta; sons, Terry Delekta, Jeffrey Patrick Delekta; sister, Sheila Carter; brother, Terence Rogan.

Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Christian Mothers; Three Score Seniors, where she served as secretary for many years.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda Hopes (James) of Tampa, FL, Christine Woody of Barrackville, WV, Kathleen Allen of Weirton, WV; sons, John Delekta of Weirton, WV, Stephen Delekta of Cedar Rapids, IA; sisters, Kathleen Wesley (Paul) of Waterloo, Canada, Sandra Josselyn (Lee) of South Dennis, MA, Marilyn Rogan of Portsmouth, RI,Rosemary Bartell of Assonet, MA ; grandchildren, Katie and Eric Hopes, Sara, Rachel, and Adam Woody; three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday April 22, 2016 6:00-8:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 200 Preston Avenue, Weirton, WV with Reverend Tony Thurston as celebrant.
