Patricia Ann Pronchik

PATRICIA ANN “PATTY” PRONCHIK, 94, of Colliers, WV, passed Saturday January 6, 2024 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born October 7, 1929 in Littleton, WV, daughter of the late Curtis Roy Frashure and Lucille E. Coffindaffer Frashure. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, John Pronchik, Jr. (2009); beloved son, John C. “Beany” Pronchik (2021); brother, Charles Curtis Frashure; and sisters, Dora Mae Shields and Charlin June Frashure.

Patty loved old cowboy movies and tv shows. Her favorite times revolved around her family and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Patty is survived by daughter-in-law, Susan K. Pronchik; grandchildren, John Michael Pronchik and Kristen Michelle Pronchik; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kennen and John Andrew Pronchik (fiancée Layna Czak).

Visitation will take place Saturday January 13, 2024 from 2:00 PM until service at 4:00 PM at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, with Minister Tom Derby presiding. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Patty’s family wishes to thank Wellsburg Healthcare Center and Staff for her time spent in their care. Also, thank you to Dr. John, the Nursing Staff of 5th Floor Weirton Medical Center, and Stephanie from Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Patty in her final days.
