Pauline E. Fabian

PAULINE E. FABIAN, 94, of Weirton, WV, passed Saturday, August 16, 2025 at WVU Medicine – Wheeling Hospital. She was born July 23, 1931 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Burt and Katherine Garrett Sharp. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Fabian (2010); son, Donald Fabian; and brothers, Burt Sharp, Jr., Bill Sharp and Thomas “Mitzi” Sharp.

Pauline was a graduate of Weir High School, Class of 1949, where she lettered in Cheerleading for 4 years. A talented artist, Pauline loved craftwork in her spare time. She was also a talented cook. Pauline could taste a dish at a restaurant, tell you which ingredients were added, then go home and cook it herself.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Thompson (John); son, Joseph Fabian, Jr.; grandchildren, Jason Northedge, John Michael Thompson, Jason Thompson, and Kerri Johnson; great granddaughter, Mazzy Johnson; and sister-in-law, Betty Sharp.

Per Pauline’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton.
