PAULINE M. HUGGINS, 90, of Weirton, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at WVU Medicine – Weirton Medical Center.
Born April 5, 1936, in Wylieville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Warren B. Williams and Roberta Cain Williams. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Arthur G. Huggins (2017); her daughter, Sharon Chambers; grandchildren, Emily and Jodi; great-granddaughter, Sophia; and her sister, Marlene Gibson.
Pauline was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School. On May 27, 1957, she married Arthur Huggins, and together they built a loving home and raised their family in Weirton. She was a faithful member of the Weirton Heights Church of Christ and found great joy in her family and community.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Higgs (Fred), Sandra Cline, Linda Veltri (John), Lisa Sayre (Kirk), Deborah Turick, and David Huggins (Melissa). She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren expected soon, as well as her brother, Norman Williams (preceded in death by his wife, Isabelle). Pauline will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 21, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. A funeral service will be held there on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., with Evangelist Steve Smithbauer officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
