Peter "Pete" John DeSanto

PETER "PETE" JOHN DeSANTO, 66 of Steubenville, OH passed away Monday April 17, 2017 at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, FL. He was born February 22, 1951 in Washington, PA. He was the son of the late John and Mary Golubofsky DeSanto. Pete was also preceded in death by his sister, Renee Bongiorni.

He was an avid fisherman. Pete retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. as a pipe fitter/welder.

Surviving are his wife of over 28 years, Linda DeLong DeSanto; son, Bryan DeSanto (Bobbi) of Weirton, WV; stepsons, Andrew Shall of Belleville, MI, Aaron Shall of Steubenville, OH; step daughter, Angela Shall Eisnaugle of Steubenville, OH; step grandchildren, Abbriella Gentry of Cleveland, OH, Zoe Lynn Eisnaugle and Blake Eisnaugle, both of Steubenville, OH, Tommy Maris of Weirton, WV; canine companion, Beau.

Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 & 6-8 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 a..m. with Paul "Joe" DeLong presiding. Entombment will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
