RUTH E. GLOVER, 83, of Toronto, OH, passed Monday, October 21, 2024 at Valley Hospice, Steubenville. She was born November 27, 1940 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Burl and Louise Ingold Harper. She is also preceded in death by brother, Clifford Harper; and sister, Charlotte Rutter.
Ruth was a member of Colliers Way Church of Christ. She worked for many years as a court reporter for Jefferson County, Ohio. Ruth loved baking her delicious pies; almost as much as she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James “Jim” B. Glover; sons, Joseph Carducci (Cynthia), David A. Carducci (Cassandra), Douglas E. Carducci (Dana), and Matthew A. Glover (Monica); 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert Harper, James Harper, Richard Harper, and Allen Harper.
Visitation will take place Friday, October 25 from 10:00 AM until service 12:00 Noon, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, with Evangelist Tom Derby presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
