Shirley A. Bonacci

SHIRLEY A. BONACCI, 78 of Weirton, WV passed away Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born December 30, 1938 in Colliers, WV. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Allen Tyo and Mary Helen Criner Tyo. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Hercules, fallen WV State Trooper (1977), sister, Linda Lloyd.

Shirley was a former member of Mercy Baptist Church. She was a 1956 Weir high school graduate. She was formerly employed by Weirton Steel Corp., Hanover Shoes, and several home health agencies in the area.

Surviving are her husband, Robert M. Bonacci; sons, Allen Wheeler Hercules (Jane) of Lawrenceville, GA, David Thomas Hercules (Renee) of Hagerstown, MD, Bob Bonacci (Mary) of BelAir, MD; sister, Rita Napier of Frametown, WV; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Jacob, Kathleen, Ava Rose, Alex.

Visitation will be Friday February 3, 2017 5:00-8:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Rhodes presiding. Entombment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
