STEVEN "BUZZY" A. DANEK, JR., 77, formerly of Burgettstown, PA passed away Tuesday August 9, 2016 in Minneapolis, MN after a long bout with cancer. He was born September 22, 1938 in Burgettstown, PA. The son of the late Stephen and Helen Goleski Danek. Preceded in death by a brother, John M. Danek(1983).
1956 graduate of Union High School. He received his engineering degree from Penn State University in 1962. He retired from IBM with over 40 years of employment.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Blair Danek; daughter, Amy Lyons (David); sons, Steven Danek (Sonia), Robert Danek (Sarita); five grandchildren; sister, Mary Capogreco (James) of Parrish, FL; brothers, Larry Danek (Donna) of Spokane, WA, James Danek (Mary Louise) of Weirton, WV.
