Timothy Patterson Obituary
TIMOTHY JAMES "TIMMY" PATTERSON, 46 of Follansbee, WV passed over to receive his reward, Jesus our Lord, Suddenly at home on Memorial Day, Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was born July 3, 1971 in Steubenville, OH to Marilyn Myers Patterson and James Wesley Patterson.
Timothy was a Navy veteran having served our country on the Robert G. Bradley FFG 49, guarding the waters of the Indian Ocean off Iraq during Desert Storm. He headed the desalination, converting sea water in to palatable water for the ships use. He also repaired the ships elevators. After working a few jobs he found his place in life as the proprietor of the Follansbee Den Tavern. He was a 1990 graduate of Weir High School and the school of hard knocks. With his dry wit and friendly attitude, he made many friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his fiance' Michelle Soyka; sisters, Wendy (Ron) Isinghood of Maryland, Shelley (Gordon) Lane of Green Sea, SC; brother, Wesley Mitchell (Jenn) Patterson of Weirton, WV; close friends, Jaimie Weaver of Richmond, OH, John Bennis; one time business partner, Heather Hume; loving nieces, Cassie Patterson Neeley and Kara Patterson.
Visitation will be 6-8 Wednesday May 30, 2018 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral and committal services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Robinson presiding. Private burial will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
