Virginia L. Tharp

VIRGINIA L. THARP, 87 of Weirton, WV passed away Friday March 11, 2016 at Life Line Hospital, Wintersville, OH. She was born June 9, 1928 in Spring Hill Twp., PA. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Anderson and Ruby Isiminger Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carl G. Tharp(7-6-2003); brother, Paul Anderson. Virginia was a member of the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Carol Klakos(late Robert), Connie Gettinger(James), Christine McFarland(Ralph), all of Weirton, WV; brother, Glenn Anderson(Marjorie) of Paris, PA; sister, Shirley Cook(Earl) of Green Valley, PA; grandchildren, Eric Jezierski(Jennifer), William Gettinger(Amanda); great grandchildren, Alex and Alyssa Jezierski, Andrew and Evan Gettinger; nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Monday March 14, 2016 2-4 & 6-8 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend William Stout presiding.
