Vivian Orlando Greene

VIVIAN ORLANDO GREENE, 86 of Weirton, WV passed away Tuesday March 1, 2016 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1930 in Vestaburg, PA. The daughter of the late Rev. Herbert Calvin Hawkins and Gladys Fern Farley Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Domenic Orlando, C.Ralph Greene; grandsons, Joshua and Christopher Orlando; brothers, Calvin, Larry Paul, Robert, Ralph Hawkins; sisters, Joy Graham, Dola Mae Welch; step daughter, Sandra Starr. Vivian was a longtime member of the Tri-State Church of God where she was also active by volunteering through her church to the convalescent home ministries. She loved her family, life, God, and her church family. She retired from the former Christy's Market of Weirton. Surviving are her longtime companion, Thomas Straight of Weirton, WV; daughters, Marilyn Cervenak of Weirton, WV, Barbara Loy of New Martinsville, WV, Melison DeSimone of Weirton, WV, Billie Jo Green of Elkins, WV; sons, Thomas Orlando(LaDonna) of Weirton, WV; step son, Kenneth Orlando (Sheila) of Weirton, WV; sisters, Martha Efaw of Fairmont, WV, Sheryl Birdsinger (Clifford) of Euless, TX; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Thursday March 3, 2016 2-4 & 6-8 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joshua Martin presiding. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested in Vivian's name to the Tri-State Church of God, 3519 West Street, Weirton, WV.
