Vivian Dee Weigel

VIVIAN DEE WEIGEL, 78, of Weirton, WV, passed Friday, June 13, 2025 at WVU Medicine, Weirton Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1946 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late George Weigel, Sr. and Delia Wolff Weigel. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Teel.

Vivian was a member of the Hancock County Historical Museum, WMC Auxiliary and Three Score. She was a very generous and caring woman to anyone she met. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by her brother, George Weigel, Jr. (Sondra Lee); sister, Sylvia Jean Votruba; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Visitation will take place Tuesday, June 17 from 11am until service at Noon, at New Cumberland Cemetery Chapel, 512 Rolling Acres Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047, with Rev. Fr. Tony Thurston presiding. Interment will follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hancock County Historical Museum, 1008 Ridge Avenue, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
