Walter "Wally" C. Komorowski, Jr.

WALTER "WALLY" C. KOMOROWSKI, JR., 81, passed away suddenly at his home on September 22, 2024.

Walter was born in Steubenville, Ohio on June 14, 1943.  In addition to his parents, the late Walter C. Komorowski, Sr. and Irene Sugajski Komorowski, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevan Jon Komorowski.

Walter served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 – 1967, a Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He then worked for Conrail Railroad until his retirement.

Walter is survived by his wife of 57 years, April Joyce Komorowski; his twin brother, Ron (Patty) Komorowski; sister, Theresa Gryskevich; his children, Karla (Charles) Jones of Wheeling, WV and Korey (Kelly) Komorowski of Venice, FL. He is also survived by grandchildren, Olivia Palotay, Matthew Komorowski, Tyler Komorowski, Julia Palotay, Ava Komorowski and Liam Komorowski.

Walter was a member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church of Weirton, WV.  A private graveside service will be held for the family in Bridgeville, PA at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home in Weirton, WV.
